Construction Machinery Cylinder Piston rod integral forging project
Successfully completed design and manufacture of multi-directional hydraulic press die forging of a one-piece piston rod, replacing traditional two-piece forging with friction weld design. Useful to many applications such as construction and coal mining machinery, such a one-piece forging has the benefit of higher stiffness and better product quality. This process is commercially promising due to its lower manufacturing cost and energy savings.
Forging vs Casting products / Forging vs welding manufacturing optimization
Successfully completed design and manufacture of multi-directional hydraulic press die forging of high-end valve assemblies. This technique is suitable for forging a variety of valves used in marine engineering, oil and gas, chemical, power generation and other industries. This process is also demonstrated in making cylinder rods and tracked vehicle wheels, using a one-piece forging technique replacing casting for multi-piece weld, greatly saving cost and energy consumption.
