This project demonstrates a world class corona detection system which is based on the NPpMEMS Micro Chip Array technology. Through on-line detection of various corona from the very beginning, the system collects the security related data for high-voltage electricity system or grid, and provides warning before any fatal discharge incident happens. This technology has the advantages of high accuracy, high sensitivity, high stability, and real time detection.
MEMS-based Hydrogen Detection
This project provides a micro H2 sensor based on Pd alloy thin film technology. The patented technology solved the issue of slow response of such metal film based sensor. It has the key advantages of high selectivity, high sensitivity, fast response, high security, and low cost, providing a desirable security monitor for the upcoming hydrogen energy society.
